LotroComplete version 1.0 now available in the App Store

I am very happy to say that LotroComplete is now available in the App Store for iPhone / iPad users !

With LotroComplete you can now :

- Check the Latest Lotro News
- View Guides
- Check up on latest Forums
- Server Status Coming "Soon"
- And Lots More to come.
LotroComplete will be updated shortly after the Release of Helms Deep with all the new changes.

I have noticed a lot of people are wanting a android version of the app . I can confirm that there will be on "Soon"

Just downloaded it. Took a quick look at the raid guides and it looks good to me, along with the maps Surely helpful for a new player. I also love the virtue guide where you can quickly check which slayer deed gives a certain virtue.

And there's even a fishing guide!

A pity it will not work on my first generation iPad but that is a case with a lot of software today. (Needs ios 6.0+)

Bah, Ipad is in the car and it's raining. You're now making me go outside, get soaking wet, catch some illness while I'm at it, preventing me from going to work tomorrow. I haven't even downloaded the thing yet and I'm already loving it.

There is a iPad version in the works . For the time being the iPhone version will work fine on iPad but when i release the iPad version i recommend using that.

You should have a Windows phone.. I say it constantly, but I have one app that I have to have that has to have Windows Phone OS.

I am not forced per say to use iOS 6 but in order to have the cool features that i do have it requires iOS 6 , I will look into building a lower version (probably 4.3 and up) but not guarantee anything sorry.

Sadly this option is out due to features again . Windows Phone does not support all the features that i have in the app sorry

With the android being requested so often i have decided that it is a good idea to expand LotroComplete and have it support iPhone, iPad, and Android. With that said due to me not owning a Android device i am being forced to ask this, I am looking for players that would like to help with the Android Development. This mean i need people to help me with testing on Android and supplying feedback and screenshots of the app via email when there is a issue. I know that asking players to help with this task is a lot to ask , But it is necessary to do this. The more people that are willing to help with this development the better the out come . (There is also a DDO Herald, I think still available in the app store.)

You might correspond with Howard about the Server Status section as he has had it working for several years now.

Are you "scraping" that content dynamically, or have you statically captured it and reformatted it?

Basically, there is a HUGE amount of updating taking place/about to take place as HD rolls out. Especially with Traits and the like.
Of necessity, since there are very few of us actively Editing at the Wiki, this updating process will take time -- we have to play our toons to capture the information that needs to be changed... and then change it!

Or put another way... will updates to the WIKI require you to generate a new version of the app?

Essentially the question being -- how quickly will much of the "additional content" become out of date?

Thanks for downloading my app . I have to manually update every page that has changes to be made because it is completely static. With that said I can't comment on updating the app . But I will say I have a decent amount already updated . I have lotro-wiki.com on the credits but by no means Is that my only source for information . I have a lot of info that I have collected by myself and others. For the server status coming soon I have attempted to contact the developer of LOTROHerald but never received a response, so I have developed my own system that I believe will work great for LotroComplete
