Red Traited Guardian Single Target DPS? Burst DPS?
Any Guardians performed any DPS testing after the patch? I'm curious how their single target DPS is now, say, compared to Champions. I have a Champion and they seem to be pushed more into AoE DPS now, which I don't really care for compared to single target. I figured with all the bleeds and cashing them out allegedly dealing lots of burst damage that Guardians would be the "new" single target melee DPS specialists. What do you all think?
Just hit lvl 95 yesterday and did School oneman to test last boss.
I already have a Second Age twohanded sword, but old equipe with about 2800 might and 11k critical rating.
My DPS was at 2.460 for the last fight, the cash out sometimes crits with 15k and more. Hammerdown also have some nice criticals, but it is barely useful in boss fights.
Ran some Durchest T2, only focussing on boss, was doing 3k. But I've only finished my 2 handed, belt is WIP, gear is WIP, no gold jewels yet and bad luck with secondary stats (low crit) and ppl were slow on removing corruptions. If I had to take a guess, we'll end up around 5k dps with gold jewels and proper armor. Also not sure on my rotation and skill usage yet, I'll do some more tests 1 or 2 weeks from now and take some screenshots aswell.

guardians have very good sustained dps with core mechanics like bleed stacking and prey on the weak. they also have really high burst windows with the cashout from overwhelm and hammer down (also a very good finisher).
but up-front and on-demand burst isn't really a strong point as most attacks' damage has gone down overall. it's just been appropriated to other bits of the rotation, mostly passive boosts with prey on the weak and the bleeds.
