Unable to log in.....again

Ive been trying to log into the Nimrodel server since noon today. Ive been getting stuck in the final loading screen after character selection. Tried both freepside and creepside. Is this just an issue with my hard/software? Or is this event happening to other players as well? I used to have this same problem back in the day. Switched machines since than so idk if i should just wait or keep trying to get in. Any suggestions?

I just made it into Landroval after about 8 to 10 minutes of loading. Lag is terrible though. Not even going to try and do anything with the lag going on. Hope they sort this out soon.

I finally made it in game on creepside, and asked if anyone else had problems, and i got the classic im not lagging so F you response. So im guessing its not happening server wide? again just a guess.

Got the same. At first it was insane lag, then crash then stuck on loading screen. Snowbourn.

I seem to be getting hung up on the screen just after picking a sever, where its says connection successful, loading...then stops at receiving character data.

I am also stuck at 'Receiving Character Data'.

Was finally able to get into the game, but the lag was so bad couldn't really do much. Logged out will wait till later to play.

There seems to be issues with certain service providers that is affecting multiple things not just Lotro. A friend of mine cant get into Eve Online.

If I still had Comcast I would. But, since I fired them as fast as possible and got Verizon Fios, I can not do it.
