Would be better if the use of this buff wasn't just a cash drop into the ole Turbine Store money machine for creeps.
That's what you should be arguing about. Not why people use it....use whatever is in your inventory....but why don't creeps get free hobbit gifts full of goodies to use in the Moors. Have to rely on burning loot boxes and keys? Bah

Agreed. Since most freeps get there ToD's from hobbit presents and the AH. Creeps have no choice but to spend points unless you get lucky to get one from lootbox. We need some goblin presents for sizz now.

A honest question was asked: why the freep reliance on ToD? and a slew of knuckle-dragging responses followed.

Nothing remotely "slick" or devious on my part - as I could have been using them all along, without the public inquiry. No one the wiser.
