    Aloha, Landro folks!

Something is bugging me for quite a time now:

There is a regular based Rovering Threat Raid for the Regions Western Gondor and Central Gondor every Saturday and Sunday (Group up usually between 02:30pm and 03:00pm servertime and leaving around 3pm), which is also announce don world chat every week. This raid is hosted by some officers of the Kinship "Sleepless Knights" and already existing since October on Landroval, but yet it never getts mentioned on any Platforms (like the Forum here, or lotroplayers.com ).
So I mention it here now, since it is always open to everyone until the raid is filled up. (No I am not connected to the organizing kin, besides knowing the leader of that raid and most of his alts)

Hope the information is of use for those, who still work on their RT deeds and Happy Hunting everybody!

Thank you for letting me know about this. I will add it today, and hope that you will also be so kind as to let me know in the future if this meet-up stops being offered.

I personally have /world shut off on all characters because it's too much chatter on top of all the other channels I already have that are also quite active. I know some find this hard to believe, but especially when I'm on my kin leader alt, I can't afford to "miss" chat because /world gets super talkative and I can't keep up with five or more channels scrolling like mad, depending on what's going on at that time. I also don't have the spare time to put world in its own logged tab and read through the log later.

I usually post an anniversary message of some sort on the 9th, and this month I missed that given RL distractions. So two days late...

Woo hoo! Another month, and still going strong. Thankies to everyone who has contributed their happenings. Without you, this list wouldn't exist!

As always, if you run or know of a Happening that you would like to see posted here in the OP, please feel free to let me know the details by either replying below or by sending Gammy a Quick Post.

For those who haven't seen my post over on the Landy Lately thread, I am moving out of state next month while juggling work here and looking for work and a place to live up there--it's been hectic this month. (Edit: thought it might take longer, but I somehow managed to get the list caught up tonight.)

--Recurring and Every Other Week organizers, PLEASE check your events and if there is an error, let me know below so I can fix it.

    Hullo, everyone!

If you have a new April Happening you haven't sent me info about yet, please send it as soon as possible, especially if it is near mid-month.

    Why?

I am moving out of state. There is a distinct possibility that I may not be able to update the Happenings regularly due to the move.

I am awaiting final confirmation about our move in date. When I get that, I'll post an update.

If anyone is wondering if this move will affect The Landy Lately publishing schedule, the answer is yes.

Once I get my confirmation, I will also post on that thread to announce a week we will skip publishing since I still don't have another layout staff member to take over during my move.

After looking at the calendar, and figuring when I will be busiest, April 14-17th are the most likely days that the Happenings list will not be updated.

There may be some catch as catch can just before and after that window.

I may still manage to update daily during that time, as a needed break from packing/emptying boxes.

However, I wanted everyone to be aware of when will be an iffy time span as I get ready for my out of state move.

    Hello

Starlight will be performing some old and new some familiar and some obscure.

Friday 29th April at 3pm server time, Bree stage (we may move to festival stage if already taken or the layers make an appearance)

    See you there!

    Hullo, everyone.

Moving had its share of mis-adventures, but things are finally falling into place and being pulled out of boxes. *curses internet monopolies*

I will start catching up the Happenings list over the course of the next week.

I ask for patience during that time, as I will be slowly rotating the list in catch up so I don't mess up events that are Every Other Weeks and such.

If you have a Happening you would like to see listed in the OP, or an update to a Happening already posted, please let me know by replying below!

Calhil, I am sorries I missed adding this event in a timely fashion. Our internet hook up did not go as planned, despite our best attempts. If there are any other updates for Starlight, please do let me know and I will adjust accordingly.

Allrighty....it seems I'm all caught up. One Time and Recurring that Ended Happenings have been shifted over to the Past Happenings list as well.

I ask that all Happenings Runners PLEASE, with clover honey on top, check your listings now to make sure I didn't botch anything with a month's worth of rotations.

If I did, please say so and I will fix the mistake as soon as I see your note.

Hopefully all is well, and we'll be just dandy moving forward.

    Hullo everyone!

If you are in charge of a Happening, or know of a Happening that's going on but not listed here--then I need to hear the details about it from you!

I do try to scout for Happenings that are not yet listed, but I don't always know the right circle or place to find info about such. Sometimes it's also a matter of not having enough time to find such at the right time.

So if you can help out adding info, I'd appreciate it.

Post Notice of upcoming change to Past Happenings listings.

The third post, Past Happenings, has grown to need better organization/readability.

My plan is to create an index in the third post to link to whatever other post # in this thread the bits wind up after dissemination.

I'm short on time to do it all in one go, so this will happen over time. If you notice it's partly old way & partly new way, it's just mid transition and not yet done.

In case anyone is wonder the reasons I keep up with the past: I like recording the history; some folks have told me it's easier to find some Past Happenings info there than trying to use the search function; and it also gives me a check against when I may have flubbed moving a present Happening down the line.

Post That wasn't as painful as I feared.

Ok, so I've got the new index up, and separated out as needed.

I know there are some events that due to the newness of the Happenings list may be mislabeled a One Time when they might be an actual Annual and so forth. There were also times when details changed over time. I will try when time allows to address some of those issues.

I know some years seem sparse to get their own reply, but I realized if I let the groups contain all possible years, if we are all lucky enough to enjoy Middle-earth for years to come, eventually those group replies would need the breakdowns to subgroup replies I already started. So think of that choice I made as my optimistic hope that LOTRO will be around for a while still.

If anyone has suggestions as to how this might be done better, please do share those thoughts here or in world.

It would help me greatly if you could please check your own Past Happenings Listings for any error(s) I may have made. If you find such, please reply below, and I will fix them as I see your notice.
