Good 1 v 1 thread.

I searched around for our old 1 v 1 threads and could not find them so decided to start a new one. I love 1 v 1s and I like to call out players I think have given me a good fight. Lets keep it positive and fun.

I don't play often anymore but I like to roam solo sometimes during my play time and it is really nice to see creeps actually doing the same.

Hypnotized (sp?) Best spider I have fought in a couple years that I remember anyways for your rank. Great movement great skill usage you had my beat after that burrow I was pretty much outta oh #### skills.

Dreadweaver another great spider that has destroyed me a number of times with all my skills used.

Twongs given me a couple of great fights and really nice to see a reaver roaming solo.

Haven't had too many 1v1s in my short time here but from the few I have had I'd like to mention:

Hypnotized - is a great little spider, great CC management and not just blindly spamming it like a ton of other spiders here, moves well.
Barkenstone - had a couple fights roaming, good warg who doesn't hips away the second you throw a skill unlike most.

Yesterday, someone asked about how to find more 1v1s in another Ark thread that I was reading, and I looked back to see when the last 'Good 1v1' on Ark thread got any comments; it was April of this year. That's kind of unfortunate because I think threads like that encourage and promote 1v1 activity and soloing. Nicely done reviving this thread, Derlan!

Can i ask in general as a champ what is good 1 v 1 etiquette. As i know from talking to people previously some say you aren't supposed to use certain skills or something so i was just wondering what are they for champs. Don't mean to hijack your thread just this thread reminded me to ask haha also i heard that someone said as well if you want 1 v 1 go to good grims so not sure if that's the unofficial place to spar?

Use whatever skills you feel are needed to make the fight competitive. That's the best advice I can give. There are so many ways in this game to be completely OP at the end of the day is that really fun?

Creep vs Freep perspective:

Erelena, Swagrandir, Eaola, Eniigmatik-1 were all the toughest 1v1s, hope to see more of that.

Freep vs Creep perspective:

Eurotrash, Discusting, Twong-1, Quio and a certain r10 BA I can't remember the name of.

Ark is taking some getting used to but so far it's been fun, I look forward to whoever else I encounter out there.

Thanks all that at one point on the day have pass around good grim for 1v1 . Muchas gracias . Most of you gave good hard and closed fiht time everytime. ..of course some of the goes I got my behind handed , but that's just what I seek when engaging in 1v1 ...

Tip..if you don't like when ppl have their tomes of defense on...don't eat the -4% damage trail food for 1v1

They do love their trail food don't they? The 1v1 skill usage is weird here I've found, a lot of people seem to use everything they have, spider reflect, burrow, impale/DS, hips, self heals and the like and some people are very reserved, guess it's all the transferred players. Each server having different 1v1 etiquette. Will take a little time to get used to who uses what so i can react with skills that would balance it out. It's fun stuff



On that note id like Thank dangerouspuppy, necrosomething R13 BA, viperfang and Malu for the few 1v1s on the RK

I'd like to 1v1 some reavers, haven't had much chance due to the mass of Defilers roaming with them lately. If you see me ride off from a group alone and jump around im just waiting for a 1v1 or 1v2 away from the Zerg play.

Etiquette sort of disappears when people gear morale through the teeth and sit on a 30k base at minimum, it behooves me that people become surprised when creeps start using more. I wonder why that is?

it's not even server culture, it's common sense.

Out of curiosity how much morale would you say freeps should be rolling with right now? Bearing in mind at least 60k mastery is more than acheivable with 30k morale out there.
The essence system was always going to be flawed in this regard. Turbines need to up morale and damage every other update isn't new.

Running around in 20k morale just doesn't sound fun when looking at the morale and damage of a group of reavers for example. Or are we strictly talking 1v1? (being the 1v1 thread.)

.so the morale quantity ..doesn't make sense ...any freep showing at 1v1 circle under 25k ..will surely get badly beaten , unless is running with a particular glass cannon and knows what he/she is doing...more when you consider majority of people have self heals out of question when it comes to 1v1

60k mastery with 30k morale may be achievable for some classes, but I am assuming that isn't the case for all (e.g., burgs), assuming capped mits and other relevant stats that are necessary.
