When will Turbine fix the ad spamming accounts?

Seriously, it is getting out of hand!

I don't know one modern community which has issues like this. How old is the forum software, 2004? Any decent forum software has a feature to prevent this.

And no, deleting these topics/accounts every other day is not a solution!

Those are spam bots - unfortunately Turbine has not figured out how to use their VBulletin software properly. Simple measures would stop this spam.

There is a thread in the new players question section about this already (if you can find it under the ton of spam).

How old is the forum software, 2004?

vBulletin started in 2000ish. I have installed it more times than I care to remember for Mom and Pop sites that couldn't read instructions.
