I personally dont mind the festival and treasure ones because its a 1 time deal but the chicken one is crazy and makes me barely log in on those weekends. Every time you switch a toon, level, fart, whatever that popup is there and it honestly turns people off of the game

These happen once per festival. If we're gonna spend dev resources implementing opt-outs, let's get the ability to opt out of things from the alert window. It never stops spamming alerts and is universally reviled. Seriously, I never need an alert that an LI has leveled up.

Im not everybody, and for sure i will play the fall festival (one of my favourites) in several alts. Maybe my mistake was the "we" in my last post. Correct post is:

I only get one Hobnanigans notice and it has been like this for several months now. One notice per character, just like all other festivals and events, though the extra maps are, or were, handy.

Because I go to a lot of music events, I find the Hobnanigans maps can sometimes be handy for getting to the Bree Festival Grounds quickly from anywhere in Middle Earth. (The maps take one closer to the festival stage than even the festival horse from the Pony or West Bree and do not require porting to Bree first.) But I don't need several stacks of 50. They tended to accumulate because accepting them (if I even had room to do so) seemed to be the only way to clear it off my screen. (That may be related to that fact that I have auto-accept enabled for expediency when raiding Warbands.)

What does disappointment me, though, is that we now generally get only one map each for the festivals. Most, though, are for places that are normally pretty easy to get to, even outside of the festivals. Traveling to Hobbiton, however, can seem a real pain to someone who, like me, is spoiled by swift travel. I would love to accumulate a supply of Party Tree and/or Bywater maps. There are a couple quests that bestow them, but they seem to be granted only once per event, and, unlike Treasure Hunt, Anniversary, and Yule Festival maps, you cannot barter for more of them.
