Hi I just restarted playing my burglar (it's been literal years since i've played one) and wonder what post-imbuement legacies I should go with? I've always favored Quiet Knife, with some Gambler thrown in. I'll be doing mostly pve with some pvmp (but won't be doing the All-in swap so probably won't need that legacy). Here are the legacies to choose:
weapon:
A Small Snag Damage
Burglar Bleed Damage
Feint Attack Damage
Cunning Attack Bleed Damage
Coup De Grâce Damage
Critical Chain Skills Critical Multiplier
Critical Response Skill Damage
Harmful Gamble Damage

Critical Chain Skills Critical Rating
Dust in the Eyes Miss Chance
Gamble Chance & Cash Out Damage
Hedge Your Bet Damage
Mischievous Glee Healing
Off-hand Critical Rating
Positional Damage
Purge Corruption Damage
Reveal Weakness Incoming Damage Debuff
Skills Critical Multiplier
Sneak Movement Speed
Surprise Strike Damage

weapon:
Feint Attack Damage
Coup De Grâce Damage
Critical Chain Skills Critical Multiplier
Critical Response Skill Damage
Position Surprise Strike from Stealth
Subtle Stab Critical Damage or Cunning Attack Bleed Dmg
Subtle Stab Damage Multiplier or Bleed Dmg
You don't need any of the critical rating ones, because your crit rating should already be maxed out before coming into this. All those do is slightly increase damage from devastating attacks, and you can get much more damage our of other legacies.
You have a spare legacy you can use on tools - go with whatever you like (+agility and +dust in the eyes miss chance are my favorites)
On tools, the idea is that you're trying to boost your own damage where possible (positional damage, skills crit, surprise strike), and improve your debuffs when not possible.
Now that said, I use red & yellow because I think of my purpose to be to help the group, and that gives me lots of group utility. If you're building toward bleeds, you can swap subtle stab for bleed as indicated above.
