Chickens to Mount Doom test run, December 3rd 4pm ST

The Bounders of the Shire will be attempting a chicken run to Mordor to see if we can (a) get through the Black Gate and (b) make it to the top of what's left of Orodruin. We'll get started at 4 PM next Sunday, and all are welcome to join us. We'll post the planned route here later this week.

The biggest thing I believe will be like you said, whether or not you can gain access through the Black Gate (since it is phasing that allows you to enter).

Also, looking at your route, why go through the Paths of the Dead and all the way through Gondor? You can skip all that by going through Kingstead to Eastfold, Eastfold to Far Anorien (there is a portal chickens can go through just east of Beaconwatch), then Far Anorien to Old, and then follow the route as before. Just seems you can skip a lot of travel.

Because Far Anorien is a level 105 zone, and I want to minimize how much time we spend in zones over 100, if only so our escorts can stick around for longer.
