Draigoch, only because of all the times he went braindead and we had to try again.
Lethareth, the Returned
the lagmonster
Jagger Jack. And technically he's not a raid boss, but it takes a raid's worth of sturdy adventurers to take down this mountain of a man.
Gotheron in Ost dunhoth on Tier 2 with full group never beat him yet.

Now that is a good question. Would have to say Saruman in The Towers of Orthanc.
The final boss at Dungeons of Naerband... 2 hours and so many deaths to reach him multiple times and always failing.
Drugoth at Sari Surma T2c is at 2nd place.
(I haven't played Throne or Abyss fully, so I can't say about those. Yet.)
The Balrog of the Rift.
Wose, Huorn, and Earth Kin are playable races; when will that day come true?

Agreed. Thurlauch is tough with all the different elements to the raid. Clean the water, clear the back room, protect the lady. Oh yeah, and kill a Balrog...
Draigoch ) long and lovely
Thaurlach, the final boss of the Rift in Angmar. Not only is the instance really long (at least for a casual player like me) but also there are several mechanics you need to know or you'll wipe. It's very frustrating to come all the way down there only to get beaten repeatedly by him. But I must admit, it's an awesome boss. For a first meeting with a Balrog, that's properly terrifying.
I would have to say that it would be any of the ToO raids, especially Saruman.... Back in the day of Isengard, it was nearly a impossible run because you just didn't have enough people that knew the runs, or had the gear to do them. I can remember hours spent trying to make it thru those runs
Speaking of the bosses I’ve encountered... Both of them are hard!
Every single one! All of them! Each and every boss! Can I stress that any more?

Any that make it impossible to solo, even when way over level.
Hands down, without a doubt, it has to be....
Jagger Jack.

Draigoch for me, you can die easily if you stand in the wrong place.
This is a hard question to answer but the most times I've wiped goes hands down to Rakothas from throne of dread terror when it first came out. He is the kind of boss that destroys you if you rush in blindly.
This horse may already be dead but... Thaurlach :]
