    It is not possible to connect to lotro

    I lost the connection to the server and I cannot connect to the game that happens

    seriously …. sometimes just a standard reboot usually fixes it.
    or even an ipconfig/flushdns from command prompt helps

    Uh, no. It doesn’t. I even tried logging in to a different server. Getting kinda tired of this. I know I’m not the OP, but this appears to be systemic since the last game update.

    Just going to have to repair the game client. Sigh.

    Firewalls and AV regularly block lotro.exe after an update. Look under your Firewalls, "HIPS" settings, as this is normally the module that decides lotro is a bad program.

    Often people can get so far before it gets blocked, because that is the point at which the game switches internet protocol - which is also what a lot of malware does.
