Quest: Wanted pebbles, quest items availability on 120 resource instances

I tried Glimmerdeep looking for the old pitons, level 122 as a level 130 character just as you said, and I did not get them. As a random drop, it is always possible that they simply didn't happen to drop, I guess. I will try at least one more time before I give up. Thanks for the idea anyway!

It's an old thread but since the wiki for the quest links to this thread, I wanted to confirm that yes you can set the skirmish versions 8 levels below and get the items to drop.

However- if the quest requires scrub-moss it is currently impossible for a high-level character to complete, because scrub-moss only drops in the resource instance The Withered Heath. There is no level-adjustable skirmish that drops this item, so high-level players will have to wait for a day when scrub-moss isn't required.
