Problems starting gam on Mac Book

I have already installed the game on my Mac Book, I've even played the game on it before. It's been over a year now, but I'd like to start playing again. I've completed all of the downloads and it takes me to the sign in screen. It accepts my user id and password, i select the world (Landroval) and then it just kicks me out, back to my desktop? Is this a known issue? Is there something I need to do/fix?
