This is not necessarily a store problem. More information is needed.
There are two types of mounts you can buy in the store, one is for a single character, one is across the account. Generally (I realize some mounts are on sale right now) account mounts are more expensive than the single character versions. You may try to petition, but it takes time to get a response and it may not necessarily be favourable.
