Are we broken as a class or is my gear just worthless?

I just came back from about four years away and spent a week at my previous level 115, fighting normal 115 landscape mobs in Mirkwood. I feel like I had a fairly solid grasp on how many mobs I could take on at once -- I finished the advanced troll-slayer deed, for instance. I had one of those "skip up to 130" items and I wanted to jump back into grouping so I took it. It came with a box of gear that seemed nice.

I have somewhere around 300k morale but bolster courage only heals for about 15k morale. I can't fight two normal level-130 landscape mobs in the Elderslade area without being torn apart because one mob is hitting me for more than 15k morale faster than I can cast. Even with my insta heal and a temporary bubble, I can't take two normal same-level mobs. Has bolster courage been nerfed to nothingness or is my gear just worthless? It seems like even though my morale is much higher, my main heal hasn't really changed much since level 115.

Is it my fault, is my gear worthless, or do we blame it on SSG?
As a level 1 burglar, Bilbo got a pony when he joined the Smaug The Dragon raid. Then he asked for leadership, looted the chest, assigned himself the 1st age Arkenstone and mailed it to an alt (Bilbo's a VIP so can mail from anywhere). They did some PvMP and an Epic Battle, then he apologized and gave the Arkenstone back because it wasn't BoA. He kept the pony.

Sorry but your fault, especially with the new LIs. You could have made an argument that your imbued LIs were behind the curve due to a lack of crystals but now with new LIs that excuse has gone, just reforge them and voila! You've got the same DPS as every other minstrel.
The mobs in elderslade are normal landscape mobs, anything less than 3 at a time is a waste of time.

It's true. My minstrel has the most basic setup. He has 75 trait points. Not one virtue is above 40 points. He is wearing the gear from Limlok with a handful of T4 essences from the Epic. Somehow, I was performing better than my captain. Three abilities and most of my enemies are gone in seconds. As long as all your trait points are in redline and your hands are glowing, you should be doing pretty well.

Ok, I think I have it figured out. Once you get your new LI's, they don't come at your level and you don't level them up like the old ones. Instead, you go reforge them and they immediate jump up to your level.

I was using vastly underleveled LI's.
