Couldn't you already do this before? Gundabad was connected to Angmar from launch, wasn't it?
As a level 1 burglar, Bilbo got a pony when he joined the Smaug The Dragon raid. Then he asked for leadership, looted the chest, assigned himself the 1st age Arkenstone and mailed it to an alt (Bilbo's a VIP so can mail from anywhere). They did some PvMP and an Epic Battle, then he apologized and gave the Arkenstone back because it wasn't BoA. He kept the pony.

You could already loop through the Vales of Anduin as well at level 120. As a matter of fact, a few low level daredevils were able to get to the Lothlorien side of Moria without doing the Moria intro quests.....
Moved from Riddermark to Arkenstone on 9/29/2015!

Oh, It was! ...at least indirectly speaking.
It was a dangerous patch, with many accidents along the route.
But from this last update, we have a safe course opened, with many stables and bases.
I would dare say that now, officially, we have an TRUE lap around middle earth. Worthy of be registered in the books of Minas Tirith Library.
