Hmm. New mineral or gem?
Real or fictitious?
My first (silly) thought is Sauronium, a mysterious element that causes lesions to break out from exposure, hair loss, and eventual death.
Or perhaps orichalc, famous mineral found in Atlantis.
I'll have to give this some thought and research for serious answers.

i do not like the Idea, that on Wargs Cristals grow - but a Kind of Armor would be ok.
