Reward Track -16 days to finish or 9 days?

Current reward track says 16 days, but, the mini expansion drops on the 8th and with it is supposed to be the new season of the track. Right?
First the mini expansion wasn't supposed to come out until the 12th or13th approximately, but they bumped it to Nov 8th.
So do we have 16 days on season 3 reward track? or 9 days?

You have the time to complete the current reward track season that is mentioned in the reward track UI in game. Season 4 being introduced in the same bullroarer build as the new expansion, does not mean that it will start on life at the same time as Before the Shadow.

Don't think so. We've been told that these things are on a timer, so as long as the relevant code exists, it waits to activate until the appropriate timer goes off. As a corollary, just because it's previewed on a Bullroarer for patch X, doesn't mean it immediately goes into effect when patch X is released. I seem to recall that one of the festivals (Farmer's Faire?) was active on a Bullroarer, but didn't activate on live until weeks after the patch rolled out.

I totally agree with you there

The clock in the in-game UI is the timer that ultimately is most important as it's the one that causes the track to flip. I think what was meant was that the development work to create the 4th season would arrive in the game build with/around Before the Shadow, and its release will be as marked per usual in the UI.
