Debit cards no longer accepted?

Is anyone else having trouble purchasing a VIP subscription with debit card? I've used my card in the past to buy many LOTRO things but now I'm getting a 3030 error saying they dont accept my card type. Dear SSG, i'd very much like to give you more money if you will accept it.

Yup, both me and my partner had this issue with multiple cards. Initially thought it was a mastercard thing but it's visa too. Ended up purchasing membership with our Paypal accounts, so didn't bother reporting before, but your post has just reminded me.

Not sure about debit cards, but I know I wasn't able to use a temp credit card. It had to do with recurring payments - wouldn't work with a temp card with a fixed balance. Maybe something like that with debit cards - some things have changed with the store.
