There has been a lot of talk about graphical updates lately but, in my view, functionality and gameplay are far more important than graphics.
With that in mind, could you please consider adding increased options for tracking effects on players and mobs.
There are some plugins that assist with this but they are limited and unreliable for several reasons. Notably, these plugins lack the ability to distinguish between and track effects on multiple mobs with the same name.
Currently, the clients ability to do this is extremely limited. Particularly in a fellowship with rows and rows of icon spam bloating the interface.
This could be achieved by multiple means through the client without need of plugins.
1. Add options to increase the icon size of player designated effects.
2. Add a customizable (moveable, clickable and resizable) UI element that tracks your active effects as progress bars.
3. Add options to display designated effects above nameplates (health bars) rather than only under your currently selected targets vitals.
Etc.
Some classes are almost unplayable (IMO) without a plugin like BuffBars and it's pretty awkward having to download and configure a plugin in order to do something as simple as see the duration of your HoT's or DoT's on a target.
Features like these are standard in most MMO's and should be in LOTRO.
