I want to know how I can see how many tasks I've done (or have left) today. Does anybody know how to tell?

Also, what time of day does the task limit reset?

Invoke your quest log (default keybind is L) and look near the top. You will see how many tasks you've completed, how many you can complete in a day, and store options for resetting your daily limit and for increasing it permanently.

Reset time for tasks is 3am server time.
