Stuck in Derndingle (Fangorn Upturned) - Bug?

I am doing Fangorn Upturned.

I now have to "search Derndingle for signs of upheaval".

I find several NPC's and other items: Quickbeam, a Fangorn Huorn, a sleeping Bog-lurker.

When I right-click any of these, they want to barter with me. That seems very strange. Any ideas whether that might be a bug? I am stuck, because finding no sign of upheaval.

Simple as always... I had tried "look", "look around" - but "lookaround" did the trick. Thanks.
