Good news - I will be happy to take your case. Bad news - my fee is more than $5.00 a month.

Have they been charging you $9.99 every month all these years since 2007? i.e. have you maintained a continuious sub since the game came out? Or did you drop your sub at some point and that voided the agreement you say you had (did you check the fine print on the agreement?) ?

I believe the discounted price for a subscription did go away if the subscription ever lapsed.

    I pay $8.33 per month.

That's the monthly cost of a $100/year VIP subscription. If you want to go VIP, and you already know you enjoy the game and plan to play for at least another year, it's the best value.

Yeah, it's been a bit of a rollercoaster ride with Daybreak/Standing Stone. I've actually been with the game since it came out in 2007, and I had this sweet deal as a founder where I was only supposed to be charged $9.99 a month for my subscription. But lately, they've been hitting me with a $14.99 charge, and it's got me scratching my head. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I don't have a problem with money namely, since I get here enough chances to earn money at Captain Cooks Casino. These games of chances save me from financial problems. However, I opt for justice, that is why I want my money back.

I did check the fine print on the agreement, and I couldn't find anything that voided my original deal. I've been maintaining a continuous sub all these years, so I'm not sure what's going on. It's frustrating because I've been loyal to the game for so long, and I feel like I'm not getting the deal I was promised((

Has anyone else experienced this issue? I'd love to know if I'm not the only one feeling like Daybreak/Standing Stone owes me some money for overcharging me.

Some might think bot, cause your forum account is from April 2023, and seem like same person as OP but on different account? or someone else with same exact issue.

    From the Lotro wiki:

"In North America, players who pre-ordered the game were offered a special founder's offer, a lifetime subscription for $199 or reduced cost of $9.99 per month. Standard monthly fee is $14.99 with three, six, twelve month, and lifetime discounts available. European players had a similar program from Codemasters."

$12.50 a year may have been a better choice after 16 years to the $9.99 a month chosen, failure to do the math or not so confident it would last the 20 months?

Like gym membership, bound to be some still paying on dormant accounts that won't be sending in a ticket.

$1918.08 plus expansions and mini expansions costs still of "value" to many.

Might have been more worth the $9.99 if WOW hadn't stuck with it's sub all these years and prevented every other publisher from charging any more. And send them into the micro transaction game.
