Thanks to shared storage and the separate cooldown of racial travel points, housing is almost worthless right now. I almost never visit my house or kin houses, because I never have a reason to do so. I affix my collectable housing items and dump memorabilia in my house chests, but that's about it.

I wouldn't says its worthless. It just needs alot more loving from the dev's.

Yeah, that was probably too strong of a word to accurately describe it. But it certain feels almost worthless to me.

I still find them very worthwhile. For shared storage especially; even with expanded shared storage (the only thing I've spent any TP on) I still use the two housing chests, plus I scrounge the kinship chests and the kin overflow chest (we sort of took over a full neighborhood).

I don't use it much for travel though. I rarely need to head back to town more often than the milestone cooldown. In fact I just realized I never even got the racial travel ports for rep (Bree is the last place I ever want to port to, and I certainly can't be bothered to grind rep for them).

It's also great for vendor discounts on repair and potions. I know kindred with some vendors is a slightly better deal but the housing is easy to get to and visited more often.

Things I Would Like To See Addressed in the next Letter:

1) Future Plans for Housing
2) Future Plans for Community Site fixes

Of course, I'm not going to be irrational - I don't expect there to be a full, detailed plan in place for addressing these issues immediately.

I'd just appreciate a heads-up as to whether or not the dev teams are looking into these for the long term.

I would like to see the LFF tool addressed by Turbine. The current tool is terrible and the LOTRO community really needs a working LFF tool.
