From an actual game playin perspective though I gotta say it'd prolly be alot better if it was a different weekend (say a week later).

Wit the xpac that monday, that only leave 5 days for freeps to lvl, gear and get to the moors. I'm sure there will be a decent few out there ... I doubt there will be enough freeps to even leave GV steps, since i'm sure creeps will be hungry for action and rdy to go.

I hope i'm wrong, it's for a good cause and hopefully everyone has fun wit it and gets some good fights in, BUT I can really see it being just a giant creep zergfest and a GV camp most of the time.

Kinda sketch timing but the important part is the kids in need and not being able to blow Sapience up in a few seconds :P

Seeing this from the community is a nice change of pace from the usual PvMP forums we see day to day

For those wondering, I’ll be starting my Marathon at Midnight on Friday Night and gaming until Midnight on Saturday night, October 20th. Those of you who have donated and made specific game requests in exchange for your $50 donation should expect to see tweets and screens start flowing sometime Saturday after 10AM. I won’t play your games in the dead of night so you’lll have a chance to see them.

As a condition of the Ettenmoors challenge, I’ll be playing on the Brandywine server on Saturday October 20th at some point in the afternoon. I’ll post the live feed here for all to link to once I’m in and playing. I’ll spend 1 hour in the Ettenmoors on a freshly minted Reaver for this event. No GM tricks, no Admin invincible. Just me against the world!

Here’s a reminder of everything that listed here is still available to anyone who donates before 11:59PM Eastern Time on Saturday October 20th. Please, please do not make penny or 50 cent bids. You need at least $5 to qualify for the Lifetime Subscription drawing, so let’s try to stick to that. If you can’t donate the whole $5, please at least donate $1. Every dollar helps, but amounts smaller than that cost the charity money to process.

Remember, these are available until the event ends. Just because we met a goal doesn’t mean you can’t still claim the reward by donating TODAY. Or ANYTIME before the event ends Saturday night at 11:59PM. Think of the goals as ‘unlocks’.

Finally, and most important, let's not forget why I'm willing to do all this stuff. Why I'm willing to be silly and goofy and see myself clean shaven for the first time in what is probably 17 years. Sick Kids.

No one should have to face scary diseases like Cancer, cystic fibrosis, or serious injuries from accidents much less kids. Children's Miracle Network Hospitals like my charity, Boston Children's Hospital takes care of kids suffering from these illnesses and injuries and they do it without regard to the parents ability to pay. It's about helping sick kids be well. Keep that in mind please when you make your donatios.

I may have the name somewhat wrong, but thank you Dephailer(sp) for leading, and everyone that formed up and consolidated into the main creep raid. Also thanks to the freeps that formed up and met the challenge of fighting greater numbers just after a major update when not all were at lvl cap or had acquired the new gear. I was just going to stay for 15 minutes as I had a lot of stuff to do today and ended up staying 2 hours. Thanks all for the entertainment and thanks all who have donated to the charity.
