A lot of people talk about placeholder characters and even placeholder kinships to reserve their names on the remaining servers. How much time does the system need to clear these entries after I delete them?
Is this the right way to handle this:
- delete placeholder kin and character,
- wait for an amount of time which I don't know yet,
- then transfer?
Or is there any advantage in
- transferring first and get rename token,
- delete placeholder,
- wait for some time yet to be determined,
- and then rename?
Maybe the answers to my questions are already somewhere in these 48 pages... if so, sorry for aksing. Maybe someone can point me to them. Hoping for somer reliable information here.

No clue on the kinship's but as for characters I can say from my experience it seems to be no waiting time. I have made a character, deleted it and right away used the same name again with no problem. Now this was on the same server. But it would seem to indicate that deleting your name holder and then transferring right away should work.
