Hello lotro community,
i play all major mmorpgs from everquest to world of warcraft, and i've bought many many collectors bundles over the years. The deciding factor has always been the value plus items included with the deal.
With this being said. I have recently started playing lotro, and even though it's f2p i'm quite enjoying rhe gameplay, even though the constant server disconnects and animation battle lags are quite annoying.
But i still want to play it however being a 11 year old game with current managements lack of enthusiasm into fixing character and gameplay issues i'm kind of on the fence of dumping $200.00 of my hard earned money into this game with an uncertain future laid out by ssg
the legacy bundle sounds like a really great deal and makes me want to go ahead and buy it......but theres one problem. If ssg really wanted to hook brand new players with its deal by offering all the quests raids instances and skirmishes up to dec 31st so the can enjoy all the content the game has to offer plus 1 year vip, then you should have included all the races and classes too to make a new player really want to join right away. Without half-elf, beoring, rune keeper, and warden included in this $200.00, it's jusy not worth it for me because i won't be able to fully enjoy all content with all characters and classes.
Imho if you got rid of the housing perks your offering and replaced it with the races and classes i mentioned i would buy this $200.00 bundle right now plus my group of 13 friends i play with would do the same thing, and i'm sure all those other on the fence new players or old returning players or the current f2p players that are still undecided would also jump at this deal if they could get all races and classes
don't know what ssg's thoughts are on this but i bet if you asked your sale/marketing team about this i bet they would see all the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ signs they woulg get compared to the current legacy bunndle they offered
but at this moment with the way this bundle syands i will doing a hard pass on it. Dom't feel im getting the best return for my $200 on an 11 year old game with no management supervivion
