The Ivy Bush, perhaps?

Will you aid me or thwart me? Choose swiftly!"[/i][/color]
I thought the Ivy Bush was in the game, but to be honest I'm not sure. I'll have to check sometime tomorrow. I was thinking of one in particular because I thought that was the only one. Just in case the Ivy Bush isn't there, though, nice job LA.

The Ivy Bush is indeed in the game.

Oh well. Now I've resorted to wikipedia. How about the All-welcome Inn or the Bridge Inn?

Yep, the All-welcome Inn is the one I was going for. Don't feel too bad, I resort to Wikipedia now and then too![]()

What is the name of the cleft entrance to Turgon's first kingdom and why is it called that?

Before Gondolin (Sindarin: the hidden rock) Turgon was lord in Nevrast (Sindarin: the hither shore) residing in the halls of Vinyamar. I don't remember any cleft though. Perhaps you're thinking of Finrod's stronghold of Nargothrond, which was built into caverns in the deep gorge of the river Narog? That's how Finrod got his surname Felagund (Dwarvish: hewer of caves).

I don't recall if this was the cleft into Nevrast/Vinyamar or Gondolin, but wasn't there a Rainbow cleft? So named because of the way the sunlight
reflected the spray of the river that ran through it?

ORDER OF SHADOW WALKERS
It is indeed the Rainbow Cleft, named because the spray of the Sea there made a permanent rainbow there.
Your turn! :-)
What object is first mentioned in the First age, and is later revealed to still be in existence at the end of the Third age?

Aww, I had to look this up, just because I wanted to find out. Beren and Luthien, representing the lovers...
Someone else take my question, I'm not feeling quizzical today.

Ok, I'll ask another question then. By the way, I personally thought that was rather touching, and I certainly look at the story of Beren and Luthien in a new light now.
What color cloak did Bilbo end up wearing once he left Bag End with Gandalf and the dwarves?

Someone else can post a question.
Where did the metal come from that was used to forge Turin's sword?
From a meteor.
