As in the purple hele armour? Ugh don't you remember the droves of new freeps that came out to grind their way to rank 4 or 5....no thanks. I mean the easy infamy was nice but that crowd solidified the STAB or grams (often in those days) zerg that plaugues every server.

Gah, I remember the Grams Camping went on for weeks. I remember seeing roughly 2.5 raids of freeps just squatting outside of Grams trying to taunt out creeps.

Oh hell yeah. I hardly ever used mine except to storm a keep, I will definately be using it more offensively with it at 60sec. And I never used my freep insignia in PvE anyways so big woop..

Freeps

• Lainedhal’s Insignias can no longer be used in areas outside of the Ettenmoors. These items now require that the player is inside a PvMP area.
• The Chest of Glain Vraig, Chest of the Second Marshall, and Chest of the First Marshall have had their loot tables updated.
• Boss monsters in the Delving of Fror will now drop level appropriate loot.
• The slow portion of Dust in the Eyes will now be properly removed on defeat.

Well, if you don't get rewards, why not go to the moors just because it's fun? If you're not having fun, then don't go. Simple. Having fun in epic battles against other human players is what it's about. It's something to do when you've hit 60 and got all your gear. Go for fun because it's something to do when you've already done it all.

Besides, if PvMP rewarded freeps then the hard-core PvE freeps who don't PvP would complain that it's not fair that you have PvP to get something as special as an insignia. So you can blame them for whining so much about how they don't want to be forced to PvP, even though no one is breaking their arm to even if PvPers get special perks.

And you get the black horse cuz it's the coolest looking horse in the game--as opposed to a goat. I still can't believe people would spend time earning the rep and the gold to buy a goat. So ugly.... I'd rather get knocked off my black horse faster than ride any other horse. It's all about the looks, you know.

Anyway, I do agree it would be nice to get better gear than the Barney purple gear, but again, PvEers complain that they don't get it too. Personally, I think all that could be solved by offering gear that is the same as, say, radiance gear, but one piece at a time per rank as is currently the system. As in, replace the Barney gear with radiance gear pieces. The end. Honestly, I think for most freeps its a longer grind to get all of the PvMP armour pieces rank by rank than it is to grind instances. PvEers shouldn't complain because they have an easier way to get it without ranking. Hard-core PvPers should be allowed to get nice gear too without having to grind instances. Casual in-betweenie players that like both PvP and PvE can do a combination of instances and PvPing to get the full set if they want. Problem solved.

Yeah, i see waht you're saying. On arkenstone there aren't anymore good fights. So its not much fun anymore. Just usually 20 creeps and 5 freeps. Or rarely 20 freeps against 5 creeps. I go out there because i enjoy it, but more because of old times sake than anything.

i dont think creeps need more corruptions for crit hits. we need more base passives against it.

its sounds like there will be more corruption traits to use which makes no sense at all since we only get 5 slots. even adding slots wont matter since there are far to many traits that need to be used to be effective.
at the moment you can trait 4 ways. damage, health, power, resistance. throw power out there since its useless when your dead. but then add in crit resistance and its still 4 types of corruption builds and not enough space.

and how about power/hp/damage corruptions not having the negative effect?

edit that. you can trait more ways after 14. damage, power, morale, resistance, migitation, and crit resistance. and only so many slots to use.

so not scrap many of these and use them as passive traits?

a longer cd should be placed on hinder shot from BA's but their VT damage should be increased 2x and a targeting reticle placed upon their target.

When you do this patch can you please make it so people can't flip the flag by logging into the room to do so? It makes for not fun pvp. Hopefully the creeps will want to stay after this update and pvmp will return to somewhat normal. Thanks for the info.

I think most freeps and creeps alike think that the flag flipping is an exploit. I dont know what everyone else thinks.

Whats your problem.. why are you being such a pessimist and being so anti-creep right now. I've always enjoyed playing with you and against you, and right now you're not acting or portraying who I thought you were. I don't see how you think the current condition is fair and I don't understand why you find that what you've said here shows that you care one bit for creep play, so why would we want someone like you? I am an Officer of the Immortals; by me talking to Bicep has nothing to do with tattling... and if you are calling it that, then you know already you're saying things that you obviously know aint right; and the attitude and character you're displaying here is somewhat of a let down to me. You got me shakin my head at what you've been claiming. That creeps need to outnumber Freeps, that we shouldnt be as powerfull, etc.... Read up to what someone else posted about the fact that when we do infact outnumber freeps, they either log, turn and run or turtle... Loads of fun. It doesnt work that way. If you consider your run of the mill Freep to be what the quests make you out to be, a HERO in the lands of Middle Earth, then shouldn't creep characters be the mirror of that in the eyes of the soldiers of Mordor? Are we not the Decorated warriors of Mordor, and with that shouldn't we be as strong if not stronger(with high ranks) to a non-ranked freep. But if this is how you're going to continue on, whatever... lost a lot of respect I had for you is all, but i guess that doesnt matter.

Another change/fix i have not really heard anyone talk about deals with the outposts.


Out of the 5 outposts, only coldfells outpost drops delving stones (when controlled by the delving).


Shouldnt they all have loot? delving stones dropping from all 5 outposts when controlled by the delving?




also i dont think the river outpost updates the quest log still, the rest do just fine.

not a single change listed effects pve for you at all...

taking insignias out of pve just makes pvp effect pve even less, not more.
