OMG thats creepy. A guy in my highschool dressed up as Pliny the Elder (a roman biologist type writer dude) a few months back. He dyed his hair silver grey, and he looked EXACTLY like that.

This was my first attempt at a decent outfit using only garments I had acquired in my travels. Thankfully, I was fortunate enough to find some with matching colors! I did not think to visit various merchants and was unaware that you could dye your clothes!

I am only about half way through the thread....but...

I came to the thread thinking, "lets see what people shoved together...sigh." I am a huge fan of less is more for the most part.

The images I have seen so far have amazed me! People have put alot of effort into their characters and I just wish I could see a server filled with only that sort of dedication to the full spirit of the game. Look as great(or small) as the character should!

This is my variation on the classic black and white Burglar look.



She doesn't doesn't like being photographed...

I was both looking to emulate to classic outfit and make it a little more complex, while keeping the simple elements.

The shirt is the drake-skin shirt; I liked the appearance, and the colour. The gloves stand out the most and are actually my favourite part, as they seem very functional; they were a quest reward from the seven swords quest in angmar. The pants are a pair of radiant leggings, dyed black; they look like they fit looser than other leggings, which is why I picked them because the painted on look of other leggings seemed restrictive and didn't gel with the idea of the dodging, weaving burglar.
The boots are the leather boots cosmetic from skirmishes. Previously I was wearing the Thrill-Seeker's boots, these boots somehow feel better for the character, as they have reinforced toes and that hint of colour to break up the black and seem more rustic than the sleek seemless TS boots, which for a runaway brat from Rohan is more fitting.
