Is there a specific date for beta invites?

Or is some one already got their beta invite?

If someone did, they wouldn't be able to tell you.

It has been stated that invites will go out giving "plenty of time" to download the beta software, so I am guessing later this week sometime. If I had to guess, I would say Thursday or Friday.

The first round of beta invites should go out on or before June 16, 2010.

That's only 9 days away. I'm sure Turbine will make an announcement when the invitations are sent out. They will probably remind everyone strongly about the NDA at the same time.

Say i did get an invite but i was on vacation when the invite was sent. Will i still be eligible if i don't click the link(idk if there is a link for verification or anything, never signed up for a beta test) or log-in to the beta server for a few days?

yes you still could enter beta if you got invite

Unless you plan to postpone your vacation based on the answer, why do you really need to know this?

Just enjoy your vacation. If you happen to still have an active beta invite when you get back, so much the better!

They have not been sent yet. We're still receiving applications and sorting through current players. Don't worry! Beta starts in 9 days. We'll have the first round of invites out in plenty of time for you to download and patch the Beta client.

Also, don't be discouraged if you don't get one of the first invites! We'll be sending out invitations throughout the Beta process. Just because you didn't get one at the start doesn't mean you were blacklisted or excluded.

Except for me - Sapience hates me, thus every special lottery that my main would like is not won by me. No Hunter Lottery win, No pony win, etc - I did win a Tater and a piece of Coal though... Thus, I surmise, I will not be getting into the F2P beta *sniffle*

Yes. But if you sign up you get into both the subscriber and the sign up pools. So you get an extra 'entry' as it were.

Yes, but the signup is an extra chance at an invite. As are following the FB and Twitter feeds.

I'm pretty sure they're also working on setting up the Beta forums with stickies, notes, etc. to ensure that there will be some information about the beta when it's ready.

I'm concerned about my beta invite because for the past couple of months I have been apparently missing out on the newsletters and e-mails sent out to subscribers. I also never got a 'You are a VIP member!' e-mail.

This makes me very concerned that somehow I will get a beta invite but never actually 'get' it

Hmm just looked at that and I it says LOTRO Tournaments. Is Turbine planing on ever having a LOTRO Tournament? PVMP, Raid, or what ever it might be

Same here. Since i never got the "You are a VIP now" e-mail (lifetimer here) i'm worried to be completely out of the beta invite pool...

For those of you having email woes, do you happen to use Comcast as your ISP? Comcast is notorious for blocking group emails internally as spam so they never even reach your mailbox. I wasn't getting ANY of my bug report emails or any other official mail until I made a gmail account just for Turbine stuff.
