Lastnight at 4 am. EST. I was with two others on creepside helping do quest for maps. Sometime around 5:30 am.traveling from TR to Grim. At Xroads,I encountered what I thought were potential kills for infamy gain. There were approx 5 freeps. Then I noticed several creeps as we engaged the freeps. A blue Warg, WL and I promptly killed 5 freeps. It turned out,I ran into a farming session taking place late night. I did not know this nor in the previous 1 1/2 hours was there anything in OOC proclaiming this event. When a member in my group ask what was up. The response was, We are 1v1ing.

This is the fourth age? When Raid leaders (Smeg)and others(Snifle,Fanak,8legger) in RM call farm session's 1v1. Isn't their a place on each server where 1v1's take place? I believe there is and its not in the most travelled place(xroads) in Ettenmoors. When I fight a creep, I like to think that they earned their skills in a way that Turbine has offered to be acceptable. Now we have a raid leader who leads by the example that it is ok to farm for rank. When he and his group kill me on my freep, is that a just kill?

Rekka a player and person I have respect for, Do you endorse such activities? I hope not.

Unless I'm missing something I don't see a problem here....There was some set up fights goin....does it matter where it was? I mean if they complained you killed the freeps there stupid..but I don't see what the problem is. 1v1 isn't a farm session unless your looking at blazeko fighting someone 20 times and winning everytime or vis versa. when one person wins over and over again thats a farm. If its actual competition 1v1,2v2,3v3,6v6 or whatever its not a problem...Now if there sitting at xroads and say let the freeps kill you and stood there then thats messed up, if you do something like that then you should be on candy mountain or someplace hidden...

Here is the details on what happened: Freeps had come out in force again earlier in the evening, we got outnumbered buff wasn't much we could do, eventually it started to die down, but one of the players in our group needed some lumi stones, so we made a delving run.

After coming out, we searched the map for a good half an hour looking for freeps. There was nothing (To be expected since it was late in America, but most of our group was Australian, so not late at all).

One of our members was 800 from rank and desperatly wanted it, so one of the people in our group decided to go to freep side, grab a few friends and come out and give us a 5v5. We did 3 of these 5v5, 2 which the creeps won, 1 which the freeps won.

Most people were getting tired by this point so we started doing 1v1s to speed up the process so we could all get to bed. This was when you and your two friends suddenly showed up. We didn't really care (most of us were a little bit tipsy), but the freeps told us to stop fighting and they turned on you, which yes they did get beaten, 2 were already dead and the others weren't full morale.

Finally the player got their rank and then it pretty much stopped there. We had a few more fights but we were getting interrupted by outside Burgs so we ended it and logged off for the night.

But yeah, that's pretty much what happened, don't believe me? thats cool. The full story is here and I can't decide how your going to interpret it. Looking forward to your replies.

From what brammble said it is not farming. The set up fights are all good (yet none of you will fight anyone outside your tribe?).

The fact that some of you went on freep for the sole purpose of ranking up tribe mates makes me lol...now that is borderline farming....usually if your going do this its going be for fun and real set up. Not lets flip to get our tribe points so they can rank. If everyone did this we would have a bunch of r7 creeps that dont know what there doing...wait a sec...to late...r8..ehh r9!!

What I consider farming is people who were on creep flipping over for the sole purpose to rank a creep...doesn't anyone see something wrong with that? If yall wanna fight each other then set it up sometime dont just flip cause you wanna rank someone. I never said that we flipped, I said, that one person from creep side flipped and got together with others from freep side. We didnt have 5 people flip to bring out for a fight, most of the freeps didnt even know that the guy was close to rank. It was just to get a fight going.

A fact I omitted purposely on my first post is that three of the freeps present,were under lvl 65. Actually a Hunter lvl 41,Hunter lvl 62,and a Minstrel lvl 60 were in this group and all from the same kin. Screenshots? I did'nt take any but the warg did. Maybe he will post them. Thats not for me to decide.

Did I uncover a huge conspiracy? I think not. I have caught many players farming for rank. You are just the most recent. So it can be known that if a creep in RM gets close to rank. I/we can assume if there is no action atm that those in RM will create their own opponents. YAY for that!

what did i hear examples please?

we got things like someone going to freep and leading groups suicidally to large zerg ambush...

in the past there was also the mysterious epic nightly raid v raid battles behind TR....

theres plenty more but no one really cares that much to say anything.... usually one needs a screenshot to boast about things that people will surely deny... if they did then is it really a surprise to anyone? if your lookin to call someone out usually it will be the hypocrisy that people will be embarrassed about...

as for farming rank it is what it is... it doesnt really effect anyone and its not like they arnt out there as easy targets while they do it anyways... if you have spent off hours patrolling the map you would be amazed at who you would see out there doing it.... in the end if your good at the game it wont effect you much but if your still learning it will be obvious...

ha ha so wrong was an rk 65 a mini 65 1 hunter lvl 60 1 hunter lvl 65 and me was not all southern cross 1 from another kin also later for fun mini changed to lvl 53 lm and another kinmember came out to watch a lvl 41 rk SERIOUSLY YOU SHOULD HAVE TAKEN SS you memory is a little bit bad(I thought I was the drunk one)Looking forward to the wargys SS pls post

No one from SC swaped to freep that night from creep sry wrong again. We were PVE then some one wanted to go moors who had been on for ages so a few of us went out. Then a creep alted to come help even the numbers up not a member of SC.
