Indeed as Speaksoftly said, Dwarves are actually both males and females. No one knows if they are female. (Female dwarves even have beards). There is common assumption that all Dwarves are men, or at least the ones we meet in travels. Given female dwarves never inform us of their gender. So you can safely play a feminine Dwarf, letting us know whether you are female Dwarf or not is the question for yourself and for us to figure out hehe
