You get 5 if you are a F2P coming in, just like we all had up to lvl 50.....though they only have access to limited amount of those until they purchase more slots to open up.

It has been said time and again, if you purchased Moria (2 slots) and the Adventurers Pack (2 slots), you will keep ALL said slots you have previously purchased, bumping that up to a total of 9.....

Wow, really? Some of us were thinking about coordinating with friends to make kinships and characters on the new servers and start from scratch. We can't do that if we don't know the names ahead of time.

We knew the SoA launch servers before open beta started so we could plan for that.

Errr Why not? Unless you thinking the servers will fill up to capacity within the first day, why can't you do this on Sept 9 or some other Future day?

Historically, LOTRO's been pretty stable on release days. That's not to say we'll be crash free, but compared to some other MMO's, LOTRO has a very good record.

Sept 7: Patch day
Sept 8: New content launches for those that already have accounts (but no Turbine store ATT)
Sept 10: Store launches and F2P is open to everyone
Octoberish: Fall festival and my new cool pony

Patching will not be available until the game is available again. So not on the 7th.

On September 8th, the game is made available to those matching the descriptions in the original post. EVERYTHING is part of head start. So you can use the store.

On September 10th the game is open to everyone and anyone who wishes to play.

There is no reason you have to move to the new server; the new server is opening strictly for the expected rush of F2P, I expect, and if people want to check it out, they're able to. You certainly don't have to go; I have no intention to :P

I'm not sure I understand. If you are happy on Vilya, stay there. If you're asking if you can move your existing kin to the new servers, no. We will not be allowing existing characters to move to the new servers.
