Indeed. I came as quick as i could from Moria in the east, but i arrived just as it was wrapping up. Some folk lingered about after-wards though and came along with myself and Fancypants (Lyonardo) as we went off for a fish at the local river. Thanks to Kal, Mad Mel, Leigh and Bran who pulled out their fishing rods and joined us.

I think it's high time Ales and Tales was held in Thorin's Hall Homesteads at the stage area. It's never been held there to my knowledge.

Being new to Landroval and starting anew with RP and such, I've taken interest in this thread and have to say, wow, from post one to this, what an amazing jump in the amount of people present.

That is just totally awesome. Congratulations one one year!

Harperella i was wondering if you would consider hosting a special ales and tales on september 10th to comemerate the launch of f2p and welcome all the new bloods to rp.
preferably in a starter zone or maybe the abandoned elf camp in the shire

I think the usual date, just after the weekend will do fine to commemorate this controversial change. And give folks some time to gather with old friends if indeed there is a rash of new folk makin' us pull our hairs out all weekend.

Looks like Harperella's picked some great locations for the weeks following the launch of F2P perfect for attracting any newbies. http://lorebook.lotro.com/wiki/Ales_and_tales

I've got September filled with starter zone locations for Ales and Tales. I'd love to have some more kin halls in the mix though. So if you are interested, speak up! Its a great way to show off your kin house and also get a little exposure for recruiting.

I've managed to book THE Leobrand to MC our festivities tonight. I may send a representative (an alt) to come and participate for part of the night, but I'm more focused on seeing my kids for the first time in a couple of weeks.

Each week there are several new faces! Tonite was no exception! A little rowdy at times, something about being outdoors I spose, or from Rohanwoods ale......

According to lorebook... The Golden Perch, in Stock, in the Marish.

I'm hoping Slamwise is able to return there for the evening before continuing his walk...

Not quite as many attended as last week , but Tinki counted about 6 to 7 new faces last nite. Also there was an unusually high count of Hobbits. the Stock party table was full of food which may answer that question. Harperella was back in party form! And not a minute too soon Ive been blessed to meet so many nice people through the Ales and Tales event, and want to say thank you all for making it so fun!

It was a wonderful Ales & Tales, I really enjoyed Lennidren's fable:

And Lady Ghingeriel's tune, "Fall", was breathtakingly beautiful.

The synchronized dancing was well synchronized, as usual:
