I decided to try some of the new dyes and get a couple of the new cloaks.

Even a fighting girl likes a pretty cloak, in crimson:

I really like the new dye colour options. They make it much easier to get a pleasing colour arrangement when you've got equipment that has an odd base colour.

Lurkerinthemist, those are both quest rewards from the epic questline. The leggings are Rodombadanir and the chestpiece is the Breastplate of Voima.

And wow Jayspeed, you actually made that three wolf moon cloak look good!

./smackhead I had those once upon a time too. Looks like I'll have to level my guard after all :-(

Leggings are so limited right now - I'm getting pretty tired of wearing medium armour just so I don't look like I'm wearing shields on my thighs.

I've never seen that cloak before. Is it from the store? I think Turbine snuck some new cloaks in there that I've not yet seen.

they put up a dozen or so new cloaks up in the store with the november update, and yes that is one of them.

Not perfect, but close. The major difference is the chain instead of plate, (at least I think that's a small plate?) striping on the legs and lack of leather straps on the sides of the shirt. These are all crafted, can't remember specifically which recipe though. I didn't look for the boots though, I found another boot I liked even more, and I went with a cloak I had in inventory instead of buying the one from the store. All dyed Rivendell green.

The big increase in available cosmetics and methods to acquire them is really showing in-game. Mounts as well for that matter. Long-gone are the days of brown, brown, brown, or green as your gear colours .

This change is long overdue IMO, some of us have been asking for more cosmetics for a long time. Glad to see Turbine is putting the WB money to good use, ^_^

That set can be bought from heavy armour vendors in Rivendell. Heavy elven-steel or something similar.
