Show us your favorite cosmetic outfit

My little hobbit guardian is only level 21, and she's my highest-level character on a new server, so it's a real challenge to find something nice for her to wear. I liked the starting chest piece more than other things I was picking up or crafting, so I tried to build an outfit around it. I'm pretty pleased with how it looks so far.

Here is a fairly cheap outfit I put together for my adventurous champ who has surely regret couple of times leaving his cozy mountain dwelling.


Eyepatch from the Pirate event.
Elven Outrider's pauldrons, crafted.
Patched hauberk from skirm vendor.
The gloves and boots are from armoursmith/outfitter.

I had a massive /facepalm moment when I realized my Burg has had the Silent Knife (Moria barter) gloves & boots equipped for a good long time, yet I hadn't really made note of what they looked like. One look and they went on the cosmetic tab as should have been all along. I added the Rift Thrill Seeker's mask for effect (skirmish cosmetic version) and I think this one is done for a good long time:

Does anyone know if the rank requirements have been lifted from the wardrobe as well? I.e can I put a rank 11 cloak (my highest char is rank 9) in the wardrobe for all chars to use, and/or rank armour higher than the chars rank?

I believe so. One thing I did a while back (after Mirkwood came and the level 50 Moors set was removed) was to trot my Loremaster over to the Moors and buy the level 60 chestpiece, which I thought looked lovely on her in blue. It only requires rank 1 to wear, but I haven't gotten her to the gear level to do much in PvMP yet. So I figured "I have the chestpiece, I can always wait until I have her ready, and it'll still be waiting in my vault."

Well, as it happens, she was one of my beta transfers. And she (still unranked) was able to toss that robe in the wardrobe and wear it at last.

Here's my hunter Gerrolas. He's wearing the crafted medium Malledhrim-armour, which I dyed black. I don't exactly know how the armour is named in english, 'cause I'm using the german CodeMasters-client, but in german, it's named "........ of the golden army".
I know it is similar to the outfit you wear, but it's also kinda different...

how come? i can still see hauberk of greenwood and brushed leather boots in store. if i'm not mistaken, the boots are also available at bree outfitter.

The boots are available from the skirmish vendor, not the Bree outfitter.

There is some really good news for cosmetic junkies like me. Even the yellow quest items look really great. Here are some pictures of items I got just doing some of the beginning quests in Dunland:



New: The tunic, and the gloves



New: The headpiece, the robe, and the same gloves



New: The tunic (it's heavy armor), and the same gloves again

There were also some decent boots and shoes, though I didn't save them. Still waiting for some shoulderguards to go with these items. After about an hour of questing I had to go back to Michael Delving to get some dye on these babies and fill my wardrobe with them. The LOTRO store also has some new cloaks that would go well with these pieces. I look forward to seeing what else I can find!
