While I understand people's frustration and think you guys have a right to post it, the fact is that this is perfectly normal for online games. Even players of World of Warcraft must assume that they won't be able to play on patch day as the game is down for the majority of the day. If a company like Blizzard can't manage to release a patchy day without extreme downtime and problems, Turbine probably can't either. I'm not saying it's right or it's wrong, it's just the reality. Complaining about it isn't going to change it. This is probably why they released it a day early in the first place.

Big or small, major patch days in games suck. Pretty much every online game I've played is like this on patch day. Turbine is not unique or failing harder than other companies, this is the norm. You can call for more, but it probably won't matter. This is why you never take the day off on patch day, no matter what game you play.
