I'm currently making a French translation of the chart for the French forums. If you'd like a German version made you can provide me with the German translation of the words and I'll plug everything into the chart for ya. Or if you want to edit it yourself that's fine too.

not to nitpick, but it's incomplete. I can buy a boxed moria expansion - that's not on the chart. I also see a lot of 'i bought moria and som, what else do I need" type questions, but all you have listed is the RoI expansion and it's options.

I was recently wondering about this. I'm premium, with a boxed set of MoM. Is Lothlorien included in that boxed set?

I did not show the other expansions, nor the other versions of the Isengard offer, because they don't offer anything extra, quest pack-wise than the actual zone it's named for.

For example buying the Moria expansion in the in-game store doesn't unlock Lothlorien. As for the boxed retail version, which USED to include the Lothlorien Quest Pack, my understanding is that it no longer does.

Also there is no longer a SoM expansion available. It's only sold as a Quest pack.

I guess I just figured if people bought those other expansion when they were available then they'd already know by now what they got...well, unless they bought it and immediately stopped playing before they found out.

I can certainly expand the chart up a bit to show those old options if you guys think it'll help. Thanks for the feedback.

Heh, if I knew how I probably would have tried. Yours looks pretty nice.

Really though, I must admit, I tend to get confused by text-only charts and such. I'm more of a visual guy so I personally need the extra colors. Must be ADD or something. I blame it on my youth spent watching Saturday morning cartoons.

Wish I could see the store info myself even if I already own the item. In DDO the store has a "Show me content I already own" option so you can at least look at the stuff.

This is true if you're talking only about quest pack access. However, there are other benefits to some of the other purchases too that aren't shown on this chart (due to being un-related to quests).

For example, the permanent perks you get on your characters from just 1 month of VIP. While buying SoA gives you nothing in the way of extra Quest Packs it DOES give 1 month of VIP. If a new player can find a box for cheap enough ($5 or so) then that is a very good purchase. The retail MoM ( harder to find and now more expensive) also gives the 1 month VIP in addition to all the extra expansion perks such as the 2 additional character slots, Warden and RK classes and Skirmish upgrade along with the Moria QP.

While all these perks, even most of the VIP ones, CAN be unlocked separately using TP it would take a lot more time to grind the TP, especially if you make a lot of alts, each needing their own unlocks requiring thousands and thousands of TP.

One comment, though. You should list Enedwaith after Mirkwood as it is strictly a L65 zone. All quests are L65. You can pick them up 5 levels low (at L60), but that is true for all quests in all areas and a consideration in the approximate level ranges listed on the chart.

There seems to be a lot of confusion recently on which quest packs we get for the different account types and purchases so hopefully bringing this back to the current threads will help clarify things for the newer players.
