I too, would like to know when this starts and ends. Unlike Treasure Hunt type events, we can't just see the stable guy go away and know it's over

I find minimods much ruder than bump posts. I agree that bumping is against the forum ToS, but there was really no reason for you to respond in this manner.

The announcement does say this weekend, but 'weekend' means different things to different people. It does matter. Some people will be making slight alterations to their plans based on this event.
