Nothing too special about the cosmetics, as they are just the five year anniversary cloak and dress, but I really like how she turned out. Adorable as a button, if I do say so myself.

I've started leveling my Champion, Kwelene, again and so I needed some perfect battle outfits to wear.

This outfits consists of the Galadhrim Crafted Heavy armor shoulders, gloves and boots with a Dunland quest reward chest piece, the Heavy armor quest reward helm from Volume II book I, and Ceremonial Wig-Feld from the store. All dyed Burgundy.

This one is a Great River quest reward chest piece dyed white and Ceremonial Champion Rift Helm, Dunland quest reward boots, Great River quest reward cloak, and Malledhrim Crafted Heavy armor shoulders dyed black.

This is what I think of as her "Wild Elf" look. Flames of the Deep Hauberk and Cloak from Skirmish cosmetics barter dyed black, Dunland quest reward gloves and Great River quest reward boots dyed black, and Ceremonial Champion Helegrod helm dyed black and Rift shoulders dyed rust.

My aspiring Rohirrim Guardian. While her tunic is dyed crimson, it ends up coming out a bit on the burgundy side, so the gloves use that dye to match. Course the entire thing looks different in the sunlight than in the dressing room. The shoes are the light Westfold crafted shoes, dyed umber.

Couldn't find any helmets that I really liked, so I just tossed this on for the time being.. Have a better version planned as soon as I get the pieces together.

Looks like the Orthanc Loremaster robe. All the Orthanc armor cosmetics are pretty cool. They can't be dyed but the red/black look is nice.

This is my main on Landroval, Laerlin. She may just be a simple healer, but she /loves/ to dress up and look her best.

And the clothing even offers good mobility!

I can instantly recognize Laerlin in the pony by this outfit, minus the cloak. Its a very nice outfit and that cloak is my favorite because of the velvety texture and how deep the colors are when dyed.

You have good taste, my elf huntress wears nearly the same outfit! Different boots, and the other ranger shoulders, but other than that, same outfit in the same color.

    Ah, thank you!

The cloak is a recent upgrade (Laerlin got some spare change XD). I'm not entirely fond of the hood, admittedly, but the texture and how it dyed finally won me over. I use it in different colors for many of her other outfits now.

My latest take on the tired old ranger look. After finally acquiring Wardrobe access during the recent sale, one of the first cross-class cosmetics I went for was the LM's Robe of Long Memory. Always admired the Dúnedain star emblems on it, so, in lieu of my desired Short Elven Robe (curse my luck during the Anniversary Event!), I thought it would make a passable replacement. Not sure if it did.

I tried to both embellish an overused theme and hide the oversized star on the back with this cloak I picked up on the AH, a world drop that had a permanent Ranger Green-ish color (slightly different from the Ranger Green dyes we use, though). Only the pattern is dyeable, and by using Umber I hoped to maintain an overall weather-stained look while letting it act as a veiled reference to my character's true identity.

Close-up. Any kind of handwear that would cover the stars on the wrists was out; in lieu of my desired Fingerless Gloves (Yule can't come fast enough!), the Isengard Prisoner ones would have to do. This had the added effect of revealing the whitish color of the forearms which I felt matched really well with the boots. The shoulders with their different, more rugged texture as compared to the usual crafted ones were also a nice AH find.

Well earlier today I acquired the Cloak of the Equine at last! With RoR coming in the next couple months, I decided to create this outfit based around the cloak and a look of the Rohirrim.

    The pieces are:
Cloak of the Equine (crimson dye)
    Hauberk of the Helmingas (default)
    Gloves of the Eorlingas (default)
Boots of the Grey Company (crimson dye)
Lesser Cry of the West Shoulders (crimson dye)

Took a while but I finally settled on a look I'm happy with for my warden. All items listed are dyed in grey.

That is a lovely outfit, the shoulders look very like a shawl, what piece is it?

    Hiya Peeps,

I`ve recently gotten my self into Cosmetic clothing, never really bothered with it before, and I require your help, I`ve been searching for a pair of Leather boots, approx knee height, that can be dyed completely black (no bits that cant be dyed).

I have searched everywhere, I know there are a few from quests, but as I have done most quests unless they are repeatable then I cant get them. So any that can be bought, bartered or crafted are my only choices, the closest I have come to is the Grey Company Boots, but I got rid of them.

    All help greatly appreciated.

First I would visit this link:

    http://lotrostylist.wordpress.com/20...quest-rewards/

Many of the boots on there can be dyed completely black. Find a pair you like and you can use the wiki to see how to obtain, seeing as how the names of each item are below the pictures.

There's also the boots of the learned. They can be dyed black, but there is some white trim.

Periodically check the AH and try out the skirm vendors as well. I think your best bet is the dunland rewards from the link above. They all come out nice. If you have trouble with any of those let me know. Ive quested there a lot for all the cosmetic pieces and could probably guide you to the ones you need.
