Just a thought, I like to see planned raids...but anything is better then nothing.

thanks for the response peeps keep them coming, and contact a officer for to gain access to the filter channels.
also if you could remove anon for when contacting a officer it will save a few mins of everyone's time just to make sure people have any needed traits ect slotted sending ten tells to remove anonymous is a pain in the bottom and easily avoided. same for when asking a invite to a raid for time saving reasons mainly.

I believe for the same reason that a bunch of people that don't belong to the same kin (omerta + other people) but want to play together, maybe?

I'm asking a fair question: what would be the difference between this new channel and globallff. The difference between channels like these and a private channel like pulp is pretty obvious to me.

we will control this channel and any trolls and spammers will be asked to leave as will any idiots who cannot perform simple functions

No they cannot, loot will be rolled on by those people whose classes can and will use it, hunters will not get the opportunity to roll for Vit/Might gear ect.

That's what sucks about the channels system in LOTRO, once a troll joins your channel, good luck making him leave. Anyway, wish you luck with your project, and I hope something good comes out of this for the gilrainians.

But one question: Is items like worn symbols/still draigoch scales not allowed to be rolled on by normal members?

Pretty sure you can put a password on them, don't know how they work though

Only upon creation, so when a person is inside nothing you can do because the password can't be changed. Think about it as names of the channels allowed to have one space.

we will refresh the channel regularly to ensure any unwanteds are removed probs on a month by month basis

no we will have normal loot rules. if you can and will use it, if its suitable for your class,(decided by the raid leader whose word is final) then you will be able to roll upon it. any subgroups if winning a item may then do with it what they wish. for example if any Omerta player wins a item we will then look to see if they pass a few criteria to see if they are eligible to keep it ( 1. Is it your main 2.any other main in the raid from kin could make better use of that item.) make no mistake we have no desire to have anyone primarily loot orientated in the raid-channel, this is to the purpose of giving people who like to raid the opportunity to do so if there kin does not support raiding for whatever reason. People with for example a sauruman cloak will not be able to roll upon it while there is someone in the raid on a main who still requires one. If anyone does start trolling much like global there are ways to forcefully remove people from channels i have been reliably informed.

A moron who stayed in omerta just as long as he needed to learn all you knew about the game at the time.
I'm a moron who farms ToO weekly with just his friends list and kin.
I'm a moron who know's lots of ex-omerta, we got plenty in EoA.
I'm a moron who ran the 1st killing of the dragon on Gilrain.
I'm a moron with an alt already in your channel.
