Here's a Game of Thrones style outfit I put together. It's in the same vein as Eldacarion's Night Watch outfit although nowhere near as flashy

I saw this robe and fell in love, the detailing on it reminded me a little of a clockwork mechanism, so thought I would try a Victorian lady/Steampunk look.

    The pieces are:
Chest- Robe of Solitary Thunder (RK robe from Ox-Clan Merchant Camp, non raid set) Dyed Umber
Shoulders- Noriel's Folly (Q reward Great River) Dyed White
Head- Songmaster's Hat (Minstrel Mirkwood Barter) Dyed Gold
Gloves- Extravagant Festival Gloves (Winter Festival) Dyed Umber

Totally inspired by all amazing steed-matching outfits out here I desided to make one myself! ^_^

I picked the summerfest-steed as the pony to match and the outfit turned out to be quite a colour-explosion!

And finally I get to use this crazy daisy hat, I love it!

    Happy Lithe festival! ^_^

Oh, that steed and that robe are a match made... somewhere. Have been wearing the same combination on my RK ever since I got the happy, bright horse.

Your outfit's very well accessorized. Love the hat, especially!

A lot of the initial mounted cosmetics look like they'll be tied to the store in some way. But there are also some that are quest rewards.

These are from the Entwash Vale - a halter, leggings, saddle, and caparison. I paired them with the [item]Armour of the Lady's Power[/item] for the most part, with the [armour]Shoulders of the Lady's Grace[/armour]. I imagine the harp logo might make the set popular with minstrels.

This set of halter, caparison, and saddle is from the Sutcrofts. With it, Jadzi's wearing a mix of landscape quest reward armor, and the level 80 crafted heavy chestpiece.

I actually like this one. I'm just wondering (and hoping) that we'll be able to earn more elaborate/complex sets through questing, also.

Also I'll post my main's favorite outfit here soon. I just need one more piece to make it her dream cosmetics.

They're so huge they run the risk of becoming comic. All the riders look like kids.

Yeah, they're some big burly things. On top of that, mine is a Heavy warsteed, so it's the burliest of them all. It probably doesn't help that my pics are from a low angle either.

I think what makes it look odd is the saddle is sized for the horse rather than for the person riding in it. There’s so much room behind the rider’s butt that I don’t see how they could sit in it without sliding off.

I think you're just used to our current lotro horses, which are very tiny if you compare them to rl horses. The war steeds look like proper sized horses.
