Whoa, where did you get that chestpiece Valk? I don't think I've ever seen that before.

It's the Enedwaith barter hunter hat, Arrow of the West I think name is. Looks great on but a LOT of clipping with many other items. The burglar hat from same also looks awesome, dyes almost too well and gets a hoodie that has less extras on it - easy match with various deco.
Yes you have![]()

Just a different colour and a Champion set emblem (Valkrist uses the Guardian set emblem). Available at the Ox-clan Camp from the class vendors, but you don't need to be from that class to purchase it. The items can be bartered by everyone.
Thanks Jadzi. I actually like those simple horse cosmetics much better than a lot of the other stuff I've seen. Nice to know good-looking stuff like that will be obtainable ingame.![]()

New Lore-master outfit

They're the LM shoulders from the ToO raid set:

I'm assuming the purple set has the same shoulders as you can't dye the teal set.

My hunter is the only one of my characters with a set costume, I believe this is the foresters costume and the hunter pack and cap. Some place I saw some fur boots, but I forget where. I may have to dye some boots gold for "dockers" lol It would go with the vest
The foresters outfit is dyed navy.

Thanks for the info, I tried clicking on the links in Valkrist's post to find out, but one didn't work, and I didn't find the info on the other two....
That said, I'll have to say that I am mostly a solo/duo non-raiding, non-PvP player, but there are so many really nice looking clothing items available from raids and the Ettenmoors that I may have to start!![]()
?
Well, the purple set of the ToO armour doesn't actually require any raiding. I'm not sure how much the shoulder pieces cost but I know I splurged on the RK chest piece and that set me back around 50 seals. If you could manage to get in a Foundry or Roots of Fangorn a couple of times, you'd be able to buy the shoulders I'm sure. Isengard 3 mans also bestow seals though not as many. So you do have some options outside of raiding for at least half of the armour.
Also you can solo your way to PvP gear. On creepside, you can do quests and earn commendations. Sure you might run into some other players but I found I could quest mostly uninterrupted. You could go on warg as you can stealth everywhere which is handy, though its damage is low. I've not tried pveing on any of the other creep classes. Anyway, I know of a few people who have geared their freeps with ettens armour through creep pveing. So it's entirely possible to solo that without any pvp as commendations are account wide.

Lyzau is correct! It is rather amazing how different something can look in a different context and in a different color. The elven armor she created with it is wonderful!
Lothireth is correct! I am sorry for the delay in responding.
I fixed that one link. Thank you for saying it was broken. I had forgotten to fix it when the site was changed
I think Skirmish Marks can be traded for Medallions, which can be traded for Seals, but it would take forever and a day that way. If you can find your way into an adventure or three into some of the new instances, it was not too expensive, as I recall.

This thread's great. Some genuinely genius outfits in here. I'll throw my most recent creation into the mix (screenies haven't come out great, sorry about that)

I just love how they look - Raddir, Malendol and others sentinels, so I tried to work out the resembling outfit.

Here are a couple of my favorite outfits that I've set up on my warden...
Not on my gaming pc currently, can get item info if anyone wants it...

Sarik - Warleader // Jacin - Champion // Aiden - Minstrel
I tend to like very simple outfits that look like the characters could actually function in them comfortably, so I wear a lot of low level things. I hesitate to post in this thread because my characters are usually so underdressed. But I do like the simplicity, so I figured I'd throw out one of my favorites.
This is what my Runekeeper/Historian, Gilmaraen, is currently wearing (being a historian she hangs out at the Mathom House a lot and that's where this was taken):

Cynleafe Truespear, Grandmaster Cook. Theodosia Redwing, Grandmaster Woodworker.
Nowhere does it say you need to be dressed flashy or with the Latest End Game Gear (far as I know), so 'simple' outfits are good, imo. Besides, that robe you have on Gilmaraen is a beauty. It looks like she's ready to dive into the archives or brave unkindly weather to check up some untrodden paths, without worrying about ruining her getup beyond repair.
For me, fitting the character in question is the number one guideline to cosmetics. Due to the characters 'coming to their own', so to say, while still in relatively low levels, that means using the older, 'simpler' pieces; for some of them, check the introductory posts on my (so very slowly growing) blog.

WOW! You matched that NPC-outfit well!
