Good 1v1 Thread

Fun 1v1s today, had a lot of good ones. I felt pretty cheap most of the time spamming all of those heals (especially against certain classes), but it was difficult to find a balance since the heals are proactive, and its hard to react if I heal too little; regardless I'll try to slow down on the spamhealing if I can (except maybe against reavers since those fights seemed relatively even). Either way, thanks for the fights, had a lot of fun.

I was only watching the fights you had but wow, those HoTs are ridiculous! You were at 1/3 morale or so and three of those proc'd on you and you were suddenly at full morale. It's like you're part Rune-Keeper now!

Lol yeah, water lore is ridiculous Theres a 10s CD on it so the best way I saw for creeps to deal with it is to kill me before I could get a second or 3rd up (easier said than done, only a few reavers and reflexiz with his crazy dps really managed that). Also reavers who used impale to get me down below 1/2 and then hit me with a dev for -incoming healing consistently did very well.

I'm worried that LMs will be way too OP since I was still using all lvl 75 gear/jewelry other than my staff and one ring. Once more people get their audacity it will be even harder to reliably burn through those heals since their potency stays the same. I'm hoping turbine nerfs water lore (or moors self heals in general) soon.

Good 1v1's to everyone (too many to count) but smellslike... flies and spam healing on a burg? 1v1 with all the buffs? sad but everyone else good fights. Hopefuly we will have some ops in the future to off set it a bit.

Rkahnkhanahkarahk awesome fights as always you're a beast. I also like the fact that the great majority of our 1v1's dont happen at a 1v1 circle.

Good luck with Oghee the guy is a juggernaut. Lots of morale to burn through, sweet banners, hes constantly screaming profanities at you in the black speech, and hes got more stuns than I do! Good fights Griz, I'm gonna need a new approach, or about 4k more power.

Have you had a look at placing the old subtle stab relics into your LI's somewhere? Might give you the kick you need against warleaders/defilers.
I know the warden inc healing debuff would certainly give me that opportunity without having to self heal (or at least to the extent I would otherwise have to) myself.

I agree, good fight. You're too good of a captain to need to rely on stun turns. I dished 9,975 damage to your 12,494 and you likely had me dead. Feel free to believe you had 10k morale left, but next time you could opt to not stun-turn and see if you get points from your hard work.

Fun 1v1s near GV earlier. Aarya, you have the right idea but overestimate my damage. Heal yourself less, shout more at me. You should be able to get me down easily before your power bottoms out like that.

Fun 1v1s at GV last night, thanks all for coming, had a blast. Few creeps that I can think of atm are Rkanakh, Tupakh, Patser. I'm sure there are others, just can't remember atm. And thank you gankers, probably gave me a free 500 or so comms, so i appreciate it.

Good fights on GV hill earlier today.

It feels nearly impossible to lose a 1v1 while playing a reaver (other than maybe to wardens?). Even without aud/wrath, there's a fairly huge amount of survivability to go with reasonably high dps. And reaver might only be the 3rd best 1v1 class on creepside at the moment. Playing a warg, while still extremely strong, seemed a little more reasonable.

I also have to point out that it's a bit ironic that the people who most need 1v1s to improve on their horrendously poor play also happen to be the ones ganking them. I understand that correlation does not imply causation, but wow is there a strong correlation.

Back when I played my burg, if I thought the same way I maybe would have gotten 2 or 3 fights at a 1v1 circle.

Wargs who don't get positional can 1v1 just fine.
