Yes, thank you for the late night 1v1's. I had a lot of fun, even though Vaapad kept whoopin' my butt. I didn't brand or use any store items and I tried not to use any pots or Wrath but I really don't know 100% of the little rules regarding 1v1 etiquette. Regardless, was fun!

Also, I've managed to get 1v1's from players of nearly every class so far, with the exceptions being guard and mini. If anyone's interested, I really wanna learn about fighting those two classes and developing strategies. Holler on here, or if you see me on.

Unfortunately Sazh discovered my hack that allows me to do such high dps, and as such I might be absent from 1v1 circles for a whlie.

Well, for the most part, the only rule that really applies almost universally is keep brands out of it. And, it goes without saying (but I'm Mr. Obvious, so I'll say it anyway), don't interfere in someone else's fight.

The usage of pots depends mainly on your own preference (always more challenging if you don't use them, 'course), class makeup of the fight etc.

And as for skills, generally the usage of those with really long cooldowns (Man-heal, for instance) is seen as a sign of desperation. You can always limit yourself with an eye on class (im)balance, difficulty level for yourself, etc. And typically regular 1v1'ers will judge on the fly how the balance against a particular opponent works out, what skills might be too OP or ridiculous, and so on.

Most importantly, though, 1v1's will make you better and allow you to have tons of fun while doing so. And you did, which is the main purpose, no?

P.S.: Thanks for all the rezzes, I bet if there was a deed for using your rez skill so many times I could've helped you complete it in just one night.

I think proper etiquette when fighting Vaapad means just throw everything you got + the kitchen sink at him.

You can see the transition of main creep side raid leaders adopting saviorlike attitudes. Ohgee has taken over Vyxe's place in playstyle and attitude.
Job Details of main creep leader
1. Gather every creep whenever a small freep group emerges |Killing all small group and solo action|
2. Take all delving bosses
3. Zerg with great vigour
4. Ruin everyones fun, then rage when his own gets spoiled
We can only pray he mimics Vyxe in totality and rage quits.

And now a humble request, mainly directed at people I regularly duel: please don't hot-swap gear (or use macro'd skill chains etc.) in 1v1's with me. I know I'm probably going to get ridiculed for this, but the fact is that generally none of you ever use any stupid skills when fighting me. I trust you really don't need me to tell you that gear-swapping can be at least as, if not even more, devastating as anything else.


If you're inclined to engage in this practice even after this - for lack of a better term - entreaty, then I have nothing more to say to you. Enjoy your free kills.
