Join us Friday, March 22, 2013 from 8:30 PM to 12:30 PM At Jillian’s Boston. Meet members of the AC, DDO, and LOTRO dev teams. The buffet will be loaded up with great munchies, including some vegetarian offerings and of course there will be great swag and raffles for those that attend. You might be lucky enough to walk away with a lifetime subscription to the game of your choice or other great door prizes. Plus, if you’re one of the first 200 people through the door, we’ll buy your first drink (beer, wine, or soft drinks)!

Due to venue requirements you must be 21 or older with proper ID to attend this event. You do not need a PAX East pass to attend, but you must have your invitation/tickets from Turbine to enter the event. You must RSVP to receive your tickets. Send requests to rsvp@turbine.com

Space is limited; tickets are first come, first served so RSVP today!

Note: Still and video photography will be used during this event and images and video footage may be posted to social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and others. Tickets do not guarantee entry. Swag, free drinks and other items are limited to the first 200 guests.

No you do not.

The way it works is we reply to those who RSVP with a link to register for the party and request/print the actual tickets. Once you've done that you're actually in. We usually wait a couple of days after the announcement before the first set of email invitations go out.

You DO need to bring your printed tickets, or a digital version of them on your smart phone/ipad/etc, when you arrive at the event.

Wow! Talk about partying all night long... and into the next day!

I could have easily done a 16 hour party when I was 20... but alas... those days are over for me.

I guess when Turbine unleashes you guys from your desks, you take full advantage of it.

We do not have a booth on the floor. I can tentatively confirm a half dozen devs along with Senior Producer Aaron Campbell and Executive Producer Kate Paiz will be at our fan appreciation party. And based on the stack of boxes that just showed up... a lot of swag will also be in attendance.

Will there be a second wave of tickets? Seeing Turbine is really the only reason I want to drive 15 hours to get to Boston PAX will be sweet, but c'mon - it's not Lotro!

There have been a few waves already, but yes there is at least one more group of invitations that will be going out by the end of this week.

It's a little early to start thinking about the end of the summer (hey we're still expecting SNOW here). I'm guessing you missed us last year? If so, you missed a lot. It was one of our biggest parties yet (though considering how quickly we sold out and that ticket requests are STILL coming in for PAX East... this might top them all). It was also the only place you could get the very cool Rohan Tees we made just for that event.

Im very very intrigued as to what this could be. Is there a WB booth you guys are going to be at or anything since there isnt a Turbine one this year?

There is no booth, but the codes for the gift will be given out at the party. I'll also have them on me and will be wandering the show floor most of the day on Saturday (I'll be wearting a LOTRO Hoodie to make it a little easier to find me) with a big pile of them as well.
