I saw on twitter there was not going to be a Turbine Booth at PAX. I've been playing over 4 yrs and this is a first... It concerns me there is no new content to peek at... Whats up Turbine?

I read PC Gamer website and other gaming sites and they never mentiion Turbine or this lotro game.
They have tons of articles about all types of other old and new MMO's though.
Turbine should really advertise more and get gaming magazines and websites to do articles about lotro.
You should be reading Massively.com if you like MMO news, which traditionally has frequent articles on LotRO. The chief LotRO writer, Justin Olivetti, has recently started a column devoted to Neverwinter, however, so it's not clear if the level of LotRO coverage will continue as it has in the recent past.

I read the magazine (PC Gamer) mostly and seldom their website, but just searching there now the last article was from March 4th - short one that links to a review from 2011, yes, but still.

The Road to Mordor column used to be published weekly until about six months ago. Now it's only published every two weeks. I'm not sure if it's due to a lack of time on the author's part (due to new responsibilities), or whether there just isn't that much new to be said about the game after six years.
I thought Turbine stopped having booths after Warner Brothers bought them out. Instead Warner Brothers has a booth for all their game development companies. Turbine will be inside the Warner Brothers booth at Pax 2013. Warner Brothers focus this year is the launch of Injustice:Gods Among Us which is being done NetherRealm Studios of Warner Brothers with a scheduled launch date of April 16, 2013 for the first regional release in North America
It should not come as any surprise that Warner Brothers would like to reduce their costs my not having separate NetherRealm, Monolith, Turbine ... booths. For those of you not aware NetherRealm is the rebranded Midway Games that has IPs like Mortal Kombat.

Unless stated otherwise, all content in this post is My Personal Opinion.
Actually not the first time. We did not have a booth at Pax Prime last year either. Though we did have a great player party.
This is exactly what we're doing again this year. We've launched an expansion last fall, we're not currently ready to announce our next expansion, so the tremendous expense of a booth seems a little excessive when what we really want it to get some of our biggest fans togther and have a great time.
SOLVED! We're hosting a huge player event Friday night and we've completely sold it out (it was free, but we had limited tickets). For those that couldn't make it, I'll be on the floor saturday with a bag full of swag for players. All you have to do is follow us on twitter (http://www.twitter.com/lotro) and I'll update it frequently with where I am and how long I'll be there.
Honestly, this makes a lot more sense to us as the money is being spent on those who matter most. Our players and fans.
PC Gamer had a great write up about the music of LOTRO and Chance Thomas' Rohan score just prior to our launch. They also have an occasional article about our Music system, weatherstock, and other write ups.
Nope.
