Introducing the 2013 LOTRO Player Council

o_0 oh my, surprised is not the word, I'm sure there are plenty from Eldar looking at the list and thinking - what? that idiot, no more weekend boozy sessions telling bad jokes on global for me then.

Right now I'm very excited, a little nervous, still not convinced I'm awake but mainly very keen to get involved in this game that's taken over 99% of my spare time - and some of the time I'm supposed to be working, sitting in a meeting with Lotro running doing some crafting, yep guilty.

All I can say is I'll do all I can as one individual of a large team to make this work for all, helping (hopefully) both the players and Turbine go forward together.

Are there *any* heavy raiders on the list?

T2 raiding, I mean. Running stuff that isn't just GB and School for u10. Someone who's run the Fornost cluster 300 times without a flipping gold item yet and curses the ridiculous RNG every day. Someone who beat the hardest content without anything to show for it.

I hope someone who was selected is one of those.

I do around 2-3 T2 or T2 Challenge Mode raids every week. I am also a PvMP fan, in case you couldn't guess from my name.

Since one of the choosen for player council passed 3 ranks with his lvl 65 burg farming his other account and passed another 2 ranks with his lvl +-50 captain and have around 5 creeps r8 (in both his accounts) all of them JUST farming in moors, i lost all my fate at this player council and at Turbine.

I guess we got the casual reprasentatives, which is all fairness are the cool cats on the game

Can I ask which? I'd love to know that it includes more than Smaug, and what you were up to during the orthanc period. Obviously, I don't know your Freep.

Well, even if I am from Estel, I'm glad that Aalix was chosen.

She is one of the people who lead the forum where french lotro player discuss about things that we should discuss here but as there are so many bugs in this forum... and because we are used to discuss in this forum since before codemaster ...

I know she will listen to us as the manager of JOL Lotro, and be a spokepersonn of the entire french community.

Last I knew, Yicky's freeps are in MA, but I don't know if MA is still doing T2C raiding.

Or maybe, just maybe, your narrow little bit of reality doesn't encompass every "end-game" player. Believe it or not there are players running raids and whatnot on your server who have nothing to do with you. There is at least 1 person on this list from your server who most certainly does run end-game raid content, whether they have asked your permission or not.

You people who think you know everyone on your server are just arrogant beyond belief. Only a fraction of players join /glff or /global to participate in the silly clique that thinks it's their personal kin channel -- most settle into a small group and don't interact beyond that.

Based on the three servers I play or haunt, I'm impressed at the mix of players. I see creeps, craft fanatics, raiders, a soft-core RP'er, a self-aggrandizing pvp farm exploiter, and a guy who thinks "fellowship" means his warden and a pint of beer. I hope they can have a positive impact on future direction.
